Guide to native plants suitable for southern WisconsinSATURDAY, DECEMBER 25, 2010
Those wishing to establish native plant gardens on their land can learn from Wisconsin Native Plants Gardens that surround the Arboretum Visitor Center.
The Arboretum’s Native Plant Gardener Susan Carpenter has put together a list of native trees, shrubs, vines, ground covers, grasses, ferns, and forbs that have been tested here at the Arboretum.
The list indicates light and soil conditions most appropriate for each species.
