Spring Wildflowers at the Arboretum
Wood Poppy, Stylophorum diphyllum, in Gallistel Woods. The plant’s large yellow flowers, yellow sap and hairy fruits distinguish it from all other Arboretum wildflowers. It grows 1 to 2 feet tall and flowers in April and May.
