Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 27, 2026
Fun Facts is made for curious people of all ages, including children. We keep things simple: there are no accounts, no sign-up forms and no comments, and we do not ask for your name, email address or any other personal information.
What your browser remembers (and we never see)
- Facts you have viewed. Your browser keeps a list of the facts you opened in the last 30 days, so we can count the facts you discovered today and avoid showing you the same fact twice. Older entries are removed automatically. This list stays on your device and is never sent to us.
- Facts you saved. When you press Save, the fact is stored in your browser until you un-save it or clear your browser data.
- The topic you picked. Your browser remembers the topic you are exploring only until you close the tab.
When you press Next Random Fact, we receive only the topic you are exploring and the fact you are looking at, so we can suggest another one. We do not receive your viewing history.
What we count
- Views. When a fact is opened, we add one to that fact's view count. The count is anonymous: it is not linked to you or your device.
- Saves. When you save or un-save a fact, we add or remove one from that fact's save count. This count is anonymous too.
IP addresses
We do not record IP addresses. Our website does not read them, and our web server is set up not to store them in its logs.
Cookies
We use only one session cookie, which helps protect the site from forged requests. It contains no personal information and is removed when your session ends. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
No tracking, no ads
Fun Facts does not load any third-party tracking or advertising scripts, such as analytics tools, advertising networks or social media pixels.
Children
We have a section made just for kids, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Clearing your data
You can remove your viewing history and saved facts at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings. Your browser may also keep copies of our pages and pictures to load them faster; these contain no personal information.
